The Rt. Hon. President Mrs. Bidya Devi Bhandari arrived in Nay Pyi Taw, the capital of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, this evening, on a state visit to Myanmar at the friendly invitation of His Excellency President of Myanmar U Win Myint.
The Rt. Hon. President was received at the Nay Pyi Taw International Airport by HE U Kyaw Tin, Union Minister for International Cooperation, HE Thura U Aung Ko, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture, HE Thiri Pyanchi U Tun Nay Linn, Ambassador of Myanmar to Nepal, HE Dr. Myo Aung, Mayor of Nay Pyi Taw and HE Mr. Bhim Krishna Udas, Ambassador of Nepal to Myanmar and other high-ranking officials of the Government of Myanmar upon arrival.
The Rt. Hon. President will hold bilateral talks with HE U Win Myint, President of Myanmar tomorrow. Also tomorrow, State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi will call on the Rt. Hon. President.
